Men’s Health Show
A man on the doctor’s table gives the doctor a list of symptoms. The doctor says, “I know just what you need!” The doctor hands him a prescription and says, “You need to watch Alternative Health, its all about men!!!
Symptoms are –
Lack of Energy, Fatigue, Obesity, Loss of Stamina, Muscle Weakness, Anxiety, Depression, impotence, lack of sexual desire and impaired sexual performance.
Today on Alternative Health, I’m going to cover some much needed information with a few friends! Totally guy stuff, and by that I mean it’s all about men’s health. Everything from male stress to prostate to sex drive to weight! Since most men don’t like talking about their issues whether it be stress, sex, incontinence or a beer belly! My friends and I are going to talk about it for them! We’ve taken it to the street and asked…what do men need, what are they lacking, what is their biggest health concern. And we’re going to give you the answers, but first let me introduce my brave panel of men to you!
“Do you ever think about your prostate? Guys, are you concerned about prostate issues?
Studies show Prostate issues usually occurs in men over the age of 50 - approximately 45% to 50% of men are affected by Prostate concerns at some stage of their lives. That’s at least half and to be honest I have heard that virtually every male in the US will have prostate concerns. What do you do?
One of the things you can do is Saw Palmetto. Saw Palmetto reduces Pain and Inflammation. It actually has the ability to relax Smooth Muscle at the Bladder outlet which is where the pain is coming from and in most cases results become apparent after six to eight weeks, although maximum improvement normally does not occur until six months of Saw Palmetto treatment.
What do you think guys? How do you take care of yourself? Ever had any weight issues?
I know some studies show that in order to maintain the same weight you were when you were 20 as when you’re 40 you have to eat half the amount or work out twice as much! But I’ve seen that the biggie is to work that metabolism and it will do the work for you.
Some ways to work that metabolism are through Isotonic Exercise,
which absolutely retards the increase in Muscle Weakness that comes with the aging process. Isotonic Exercise improves the general health of the Cardiovascular System and although it was formerly accepted that Aerobic Exercise is more beneficial to the Cardiovascular System than Isotonic Exercise, recent research shows that Isotonic Exercise provides similar benefits to the Cardiovascular System as Aerobic Exercise.
Isotonic Exercise increases the body’s Basal Metabolic Rate. Regular Isotonic Exercise reduces Insulin Resistance and Facilitates loss of body fat.
Steven…what about impotence/sexual issues? I get e-mails on it continually from men and women. What did they say in the streets?
Back to panel, any comments guys? You know, while men can get really wigged out about this stuff the facts are that 85% is related to poor nutrition and 15% is related to emotions and of course there are always exceptions to the rule, but the horrid thing is that the 85% will cause the 15% to increase!!! You’ve got to get healthy guys… I will expound.
Ok Gene, tell me, what’s the biggest issue with men out there that you’ve seen? STRESS
Guys what do you think and is it affecting your health…
The perfect definition of stress is any factor that threatens the health of the body such as injury, disease or worry.
Surveys have shown that 60% of the population of the United States believe that they are under a great deal of Stress at least once per week.
