Dietary Suggestions for Parasites and Candida


Foods to Enjoy

Drinks:
Herb tea
Water (preferably purified)
Lemon to flavor water
Decaffeinated beverages – limited amounts
Almond Milk

Breakfast Foods
Unsweetened cereals
Oatmeal
Oat bran

Carbohydrates
Almonds
Sunflower Seeds
Pumpkin Seeds
Brazil Nuts
Puffed Rice Cakes
Legumes
Beans
Peas
Millet
Lentils
Corn Buckwheat
Soybeans
Soya Products
Grains
Brown Rice
Potatoes (in moderation)

Protein
Preferably chicken or fish
Lean beef, lamb, or veal is acceptable
Moderate use of eggs (1 per day maximum)

Vegetables
Any cooked or raw vegetables

*Check labels of frozen veggies for hidden sugar, vinegar and/or additives

Dairy

Moderate amounts of plain, low fat yogurt (8oz/day max)
Skim milk – 8 oz daily if desired (includes use in recipes)
Oils
Cold (Expeller) pressed olive, sesame or almond oil

Condiments
Spices, herbs, sea salt, homemade mayonnaise
½ lemon daily as salad dressing

Fruits
Fresh, dried, frozen or canned

Yeast Products
Bread, crackers, brewers yeast
Any product with yeast added
Check ALL labels for added yeast

Fermented and mold foods
Cheeses

Cultured dairy products (sour cream, cream cheese, etc)
Buttermilk
Mushrooms
Cider vinegar
Mustard
Ketchup
Relish
Any condiments made with vinegar and/or sugar

Peanuts
Peanut butter or any peanut products

Hard fats
Any fat that is solid at room temperature
Margarine or hydrogenated or partially
hydrogenated oils

Processed meats
Cured or dried meats or fish
Ham, hot dogs, lunchmeats, sausage or bacon

Refined foods
Products containing white flour
White rice
Limit whole-wheat consumption
