Today on Alternative Health I'm going to do something a little different due to the plethora of requests I get. Regularly, people ask me,
"How do you do it, I can't believe you have 8 children. What do you take?" Or, "Wow, your skin looks great!" or "How do you have so much energy?"
Well, today I'm going to tell you!

For me supplementation is absolutely imperative. You simply cannot consume enough fresh fruits and veggies in today's fast pace life. And when you do, how do you know what's in them or what's been sprayed on them! I am 100% sure the difference in me is the fuel I put in my tank! And quite honestly, with the life I live I have to have the right fuel! Ain't no way around it!!!

So what fuel do you put in your tank? Do you get any and everything someone tells you about? Does it take you longer to swallow all your supplements in a day than it does to cook and eat a meal? And then you wonder, am I taking the right things, is this really working? Well, I'm going to take you step by step through the basics of daily supplementation. So how do I start my busy day? Well, let's go find out!

I start my day with the right stuff! We are constantly stuffing ourselves with pills, foods, junk and chemicals. We must cleanse. Every 6 months I do a cleanse! I do an organ cleanse to get the junk out, ya know, make sure the pipes are clean! I make sure all the eliminative organs are clear and clean. It's like giving the car a tune up every 3000 miles. I've been told there is a saying on one of the ancient pyramids, "one fourth of what you eat goes to feed you, and three fourths go to feed your doctor." Well, if that was the case back then, just think what those pharaohs would do if they knew what people stuffed in their bodies now. They would truly roll over in their crypts! Give yourself a cleaning out!!!

Next, stay away from chemicals, it is almost impossible for sure but you must make the effort. Most chemicals are known carcinogens. According to Dr. Warburg, a Nobel Prize winner for his study of carcinogens, a carcinogen is anything that lacks oxygen. These are cancer causing agents! According to a recent study, 78% of all cancer in the US is caused by chemicals that are being ingested in food or absorbed through the skin. So when you look at these types of statistics it's easy to see why a regular cleanse has to be part of your regular routine.

Now let's talk about what to put in on a daily basis! As far as food goes, remember, eat breakfast like a king or queen whatever the case may be, lunch like a prince or princess and dinner like a pauper! Eat big and good to get your fuel and then start tapering off, that way you have all day to burn off what you take in! Eat as much raw and organic as possible!

I love to start my day with clustered water--your body is 71% water, 99% of all chemical reactions are facilitated by water so if your water tank is low, guess what...So are you! Clustered Water is cutting edge technology developed by a friend of mine, Dr. Lee Lorenzen, and has been proven to increase absorption up to 600%, clean out the lymph as well as correct DNA damage. In fact, Dr. Carl Baugh had evidence that this is the same structure of water that was in the pool of Bethesda during the time of Jesus. He can prove this through the study of fossils! And along with my Clustered Water I drink half my body weight in distilled water. Example: If you're 150 pounds, drink 75 ounces of distilled water each day. Many times I combine Body Oxygen: An aloe vera supplement that has been boosted with oxygen enhancing herbs! This is great for the immune, the bowels, energy, makes you think good, and a whole lot more!

Ok, now I'm raring to go! I'm onto my smoothie with lots of greens and berries and a shot of liquid minerals! And while downing that, I suggest a good multi-vitamin designed for men, women, or children.

About that time the stress starts building, ya know, work, 8 kids, a husband, laundry, travel, the animals, milk the cow, get the eggs from the chickens, bail the hay, change the oil in the tractor, muck the stalls, bake bread and a whole lot more! Hey, stress is different for everyone and you need to be prepared for whatever comes your way!

So I am a B-aholic! Nothing takes the place of a good food base B-complex. When you're under stress your B-vitamins are used to aid you in dealing with the stress so I make sure I have them on hand.

And along with my B's to aid in the fight against the stress attack, I take Body Aide. A supplement designed to help your body fight stress and the wear and tear it can have on your body mind and spirit on a regular basis! Another goodie to help you fight stress, and should be part of your daily intake, is EXERCISE! You have no idea until you try it, how a few minutes a day can change your health and life forever! Not to mention your waistline!

Last but not least of my daily essentials are DMAE-Selenium and Vitamin C. DMAE prevents cellular aging as well as keeping my mind alert, energetic and gives me a good night's sleep. I take it first thing in the morning and last thing at night!

Since we know we are constantly coming in contact with known carcinogens, I take Selenium on a daily basis. Just 200 mcg of Selenium a day for a healthy person will cut risk of cancer by 50%.

Vitamin C - what all can you say about Vitamin C. You've got to have it. I take thousands of milligrams a day and I have not been sick since 1984. Good for immune, skin, heart, cholesterol, you name it, it's good for it! Over 300 functions in the human body!

And lastly, get sleep! You need rest, I don't care how many supplements you take in a day, you still need sleep! And if you're not getting enough sleep, take a Melatonin and get our show notes from the sleep show. Learn to listen to your body; it's talking to you all the time!
