Well, it's something we've all dealt with! Back aches, back pain, back spasms, you name it. It is the number one reason people buy over the counter pain medicine. Studies show 5% to 14% of individuals experience backaches every year. And any where from 60% to 90% of individuals suffer from backaches at some stage of their life.

We're going to expose reasons and roots for any kind of back issue you can come up with! And what you can do to deal with it!

A backache is pain in the back with any cause or description. It can occur as constant aching pain or as a sharp, stabbing, boring or burning pain that is worsened when twisting, turning or bending, or when asked to do manual labor.

Now let's get into why your back might be aching.

First, many backaches are caused by muscle weakness and often labeled as a form of rheumatism.

Allergies can cause back aches -- What??? Yes, when allergies are occuring, histamine is being released in your body and does everything from make your nose run to make your back ache! Kidney problems are another root, kidney disorders will cause your lower back to ache! Various illnesses such as Lyme disease, Chronic Fatigue, Epstein Barr, the flu, hepatitis and a whole lot more. Pregnancy can cause backaches...

Obesity, poor posture, arthritis, osteoporosis and the list goes on. Back pain can even occur due to dehydration -- drink water, coffee and Dr. Pepper do not count.

Now for me, my back and neck pain started when a guy rear ended us in a car accident many years ago! But, with the help of a great chiropractor and good supplementation, my pain is gone and my back is healed.

Studies show beet juice relieves back pain. Beet juice is something I like to have on a regular basis and mixed with a little apple juice, it tastes fantastic! Now while having my beet juice, I'm getting reflexology, a study of the nerve endings in the feet. It is amazing how a little foot rub in the right place can alleviate pain in other areas! Reflexology does your body good!

What else can we do to get rid of back pain?
  • If you're over weight loose it! Your tummy has to support your back muscle.

  • If you're pregnant -- hey relief is on the way.

  • If you injure yourself, use ice to stop inflammation and take Cox 2 Enzyme Inhibitors to get quick relief by getting inflammation down.

  • Boost your immune system; it will help with everything from allergies to recovery from viruses and more.

  • Take MSM. It is a naturally occurring organic sulfur compound found in plant and animal tissues that is essential for optimum health. Sulfur is required by both plants and animals yet cannot be absorbed directly; thus, MSM.

    Benefits of MSM include:
  • Maintenance of the structure of proteins in the body

  • Nourishes hair, skin, and nails

  • Relieves pain

  • Relieves inflammation

  • Reduces allergy problems

  • Promotes gastrointestinal health

  • Aids in immune function

  • According to Dr. Jacob, MD, a Harvard medical doctor, you need to take a minimum of 2000 mg. 2-3 times a day. Benefits can be seen in 3-4 weeks.

Another thing that is absolutely a must for back pain is Cox 2 Enzyme Inhibitors -- Cox 2 Enzyme Inhibitors stop the inflammatory response in the body. Synthetic Cox 2 Enzyme Inhibitors work on inflammation but cause a host of other issues to set up with in the body. There are natural herbal solutions that don't cause harmful side effects.

Cox 2 Enzyme Inhibitors do much more than prevent and rid the body of inflammation -- it is said they may prevent some cancers, aid in relief from arthritis, support the body's fight against Alzheimer's and a whole lot more.

I'll bet your back is feeling better already! There is hope and help for acute, chronic and crippling back pain. I've created a couple of products to help you in that process: MSM and Oh My Back.
