EMOTIONAL TIES TO A HEALTHY BODY

I’ve counseled for many years, now. And throughout those years I have seen too many times to count that there are many reasons why people are sick. For some, yes, you’ve torn your temple down and built a pizza hut, others heredity is involved and for others, it’s bitterness, anger, hurt, stress, and emotional roots that must be removed in order for the body to do what the body is designed to do, which is heal! Bottom line, where there’s fruit, there’s a root.

And while I have personally dealt with these situations there is an expert, well, actually a team of experts I have with me today that see the value and the true deliverance in people’s lives and health when dealing with root causes.

With me today is Dr. Gordan Tessler … a man that touches my life every time I come in contact with him. There is so much wisdom in him that even in brief phone conversations he pierces my soul. So, I thought, who better to address this issue than a husband and wife team that know where the true issues of health & life reside.
Co-hosting with me today is a dear friend and business compadre, Gene Bailey.

Alexithymia is an inability to identify and communicate feelings and emotions to other persons - i.e. suppression of emotions.

Is there actually a disorder called Alexithymia which is the inability to express feelings and emotions? It is the suppression of emotions. Is that what you’re seeing? So, when this happens, what happens???

Alexithymia is more prevalent in males than in females. Generally, people who suffer from Alexithymia have a lowered lifespan compared to people who are free of Alexithymia. Alexithymia increases the risk of Hypertension. Alexithymia increases the risk of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
